Sylwia Dwornicka born 1977 in Rybnik (Poland) lives and works in Cieszyn. Graduated from the Faculty of Mining and Geology at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, from the Faculty of Cinematography and Television Production in the field of photography at the National Film, Television and Theater School in Lodz and two postgraduate studies: Pedagogical Preparation at the Humanitas Academy of Sosnowiec and Artistic Education in the Visual Arts at the University of Silesia in Katowice.

For many years she was involved in photography, reportage film, animated film, theater and painting. She performed in Marian Bednarek's Plastic Theater, Monitoring Theater and HaCha Theater. Her photographs, drawings and animated films have been used as part of theater sets.

She has done educational work for children, running a studio for animated film, comics and art classes in Cieszyn, Skoczów and Bielsko-Biała. She also implemented creative workshops for adults, among others: collage, drawing, painting and comics.

Since 2018, she has taken up painting. She has participated in many solo and group exhibitions, as well as plein-air painting workshops. Her painting and photographic works are in private collections.

Honorable mention for the animated film "Rain" in the competition "Capture the elusive" in the category "Short film" during the 4th edition of the Krakow Accordion Festival, Krakow 2018
Grand Prix for the Monitoring Theater for the performance "Empty Nights", in which she took an acting part and realized animations for the set design during the 19th Festival of Theater Art in Rybnik, 2017
