oil, fiberboard, 70 x 50 cm, signed l.d.: N. Łowczak
Natalia Łowczak (born 1996) is a graduate of the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, with a specialization in conservation of painting and polychrome wooden sculpture. The artist attended drawing classes at the Drawing and Monumental Forms Studio of Prof. Grzegorz Stachańczyk and painting classes at the Painting Studio of Dr. Maciej Wojciechowski.
The artist's greatest passions are painting and dance, and her favorite painting subject is portraiture.
In her works, the artist tries to show the inner state of the person being portrayed, to look into the depths of his soul, to reveal on the canvas at least a particle of what fills his thoughts. At the same time, through the various faces that appear in her paintings, she pours out her emotions on the canvas, often towards the painted figures. The artist's greatest inspiration is beauty, which she finds in female sensitivity, nature, transience, music and memories. She is also inspired by the works of Renaissance and Baroque masters and the art of the Pre-Raphaelites. The artist usually creates in oil technique, on canvas or board. She also makes technological copies of paintings.
