Monika Lakomska began her artistic education at the State High School of Fine Arts in Zielona Gora. She graduated from the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań (now the University of Arts) at the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture.
She received her diploma in 1994 in the Metal Techniques Studio of Prof. Tadeusz Jackowski. In addition to numerous group and solo exhibitions, the artist cooperates with galleries, auction houses, interior designers and art collectors.
Her works are in private collections in Poland and in many European countries.
She works in easel painting and watercolor, photography.
She lives and works in Zielona Gora.
