Biography
Born in 1974 in Cracow, Michal Jancik has been painting for 25 years. He transfers emotions resulting from his observations of the world around him onto canvas, preferring non-representational scenes bordering on op-art. He is inspired by the works of Mark Grotjahn, Jan Ziemski, Wojciech Fangor, among others. Momentary gazing at Jancik's painting does not cause visual tension, it calms thoughts while stimulating reflection. He exhibits and sells his works in galleries of Polish auction houses.
