Malwina Jachimczak studied industrial design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, although she really wanted to study either painting or goat and sheep farming. She listened to the advice given and followed the path considered wiser and more conventional, although it was a short-lived path, as she quickly returned to nature and painting. Often the starting point of her paintings is color, so she makes sure that the colors in her paintings have the best possible lightfastness. In earlier periods, she often painted objects, ordinary everyday objects. This changed, however, when she moved from the city to the countryside. She sees how little these utilitarian objects mean and truly values the joy that animals bring to her life. In the context of contemporary painting, her works draw from Neo-Expressionism. They balance between urban art, street art, graffiti, guerrilla art and culture jamming.
