Biography
She received her diploma in 2001 from the Lithography studio at the Art Department of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin. She deals mainly with painting, in which concept, construction and color play a dominant role. The essence of a painting is the process of idea creation close to design, but remaining in the realm of "non-utilitarian" objects. The creation of a painting is not an aspiration to produce a decorative object, but is first and foremost a field of painting experiences resulting in an object that is a record of them. Color and form are sometimes a challenge, and sometimes simply the subject of subsequent works. Her works can be found in many private collections. Jastrzebska has participated in many solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad. Among them, in 2019 "My Name is Red" a group exhibition at the State Art Gallery in Spot, and in 2020 "Eight Women" a group exhibition at the Conductorownia Gallery, Regional Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Częstochowa.
