Lot description Show orginal version
oil, canvas, 160 x 110 cm, signed p.d.: Maciej Cieśla

born in 1988 in Szczecin, is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. He received his diploma from the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture in 2013. For many years, the artist was mainly inspired by the nature of the Polish mountains, as well as folklore and female subjects, which he captured in an expressive and often fauvist style.
In 2018, he began working closely with the Dresden Gallery and settled in Germany, and in 2019 participated in a group exhibition in San Francisco - 2nd Taste Of The World Art Exhibition / Back to the Picture.
During this period he traveled repeatedly to central Italy, which has become an integral part of his work.
In 2021-2023, the artist expanded his inspiration to 3D graphics, as well as electronic music, which he has been studying independently for a few years. This has led to more complex geometry in his paintings, as well as intense colors.
The artist also creates sculptures using 3D computer processing techniques.
