mixed technique (acrylic, schagmetal), canvas, 4 works, size: 20 x 20 cm (each), signed on the back
Łukasz Sysło born in 1993 in Wągrowiec. He lives and works in Poznan on a daily basis. He paints paintings in acrylic technique, but drawing inseparably accompanies him. He draws inspiration from expressionism, cubism and recent art.
So far, the artist's achievements could be admired at his first individual exhibition "Body Forms" at the Ziębice Cultural Center. It featured 25 works whose main motif was the human being. The paintings presented subtle eroticism attracting the attention of the viewer, intriguing, stimulating discussion, not leaving the man indifferent. Giving room for one's own imagination and interpretation.
In the body forms presented in the exhibition, hidden meanings were important, references to the reality around us, stereotypes established in culture. Statuesque and slender figures like antique sculptures were intertwined with distorted cubist forms. Extremely important in all the works was a strong, expressive contour, the hallmark and link of all the works. The exhibition received a very positive reception.
