Leszek Markuszewski graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2003-2008. He earned his diploma in 2009 in the painting studio of Prof. Marek Sapetto. He made an annex to his diploma in artistic textiles in the studio of Prof. Dorota Grynczel. He wrote a theoretical thesis under Prof. Wojciech Wlodarczyk, on the topic: 'What is art?' Leszek is a Renaissance Man. He works in painting, visual art, conceptual art, design, architecture and art theory. He is also a co-founder of the art formation La Grupa, where he has been steadily exhibiting and presenting his latest visual art since 11.03.2022, as well as educational and pro-social activities for the residents of Milanowek in the new, publicly accessible headquarters of the newly reactivated project after a pandemic break: La Galeria (Milanowek, 2/2 Dworcowa St.). It is a space for creative activities with the possibility of exhibition.
