Kaja Goździewicz (b. 1994) Graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the University of Arts in Poznań. She completed her diploma in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Slawomir Brzoska. Written under the supervision of Prof. Marta Smolinska, the theoretical part of the diploma with the title Dialogues with Disease. Artistic, curatorial and educational strategies towards illness on the example of the exhibitions , "Illness as a source of art" and , "Creative Illness States" was nominated for the best theoretical thesis at UAP in 2019/2020.
The artist touches on autobiographical themes of illness in her work; she is not afraid to express her emotions related to anorexia or depression.
The 2015 work , "Stackers" was included in the book in Prof. Marta Smolinska, "Hapticity extended: the sense of touch in Polish art of the second half of the 20th and early 21st centuries.
