Biography
Graduate of Graphic Arts at the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Diploma in printmaking (etching) in the studio of Intaglio Printing under Prof. Artur Popek. He paints in acrylic technique with the addition of laser medium. Valor differences visible in his paintings are due to the intermingling of several layers of paint, which is not fully opaque. The use of this technique allows him to give flat shapes depth. He creates paintings in the style of geometric abstraction inspired by architecture, typography and other objects observed in the real world. He combines real shapes into abstract forms, which, interpenetrating each other, create new, more complicated patterns. He juxtaposes a precisely defined form with a naturally imperfect, this form creating and filling structure. It is important for him to maintain a balance between geometric precision and imperfect textures. An important feature of his work is the modularity that takes different forms. The paintings are sometimes created in series, making it possible to put them together at will and create larger compositions. He has lived and worked in Portugal for several years. He regularly participates in the periodically organized P'LA ARTE art fair in Lisbon. He participates in exhibitions in Portugal and Poland. His painting appeared in the auction and pre-auction exhibition of contemporary art "Viva Magenta", organized in 2023 by the DESA Unicum auction house.
