Irena Natanek, born 4.10.1984 in a small town near Cracow, Wola Zręczycka, currently living and creating in Cracow. She discovered her passion for painting very early in life, which translated into graduating from the State High School of Fine Arts in Nowy Wisnicz, majoring in Ceramics. Then, however, her further educational and professional path went in a different direction - pedagogical, but she continues to develop her passion for painting by opening herself to new trends. She has exhibited her works in group and individual exhibitions, including at the headquarters of the B7 association in Nowa Huta, the "Shandaar" Restaurant in Warsaw, the Cultural Center in Gdów and the Old Town Youth Culture Center in Cracow.
Her paintings are characterized by an openness to expressive, energetic colors and clearly marked contours. This combination allows the artist to move often away from a realistic representation of the subject towards a stained-glass style. Her beloved subject is femininity - presented in a bright, sunny , positive most of the time, but also being a commentary on the complicated, diverse situation of womanhood in modern times.
She usually works with private individuals but also with restaurants and art galleries.
