Hanna Dzieciniak(born 1960) is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. After years of didactic work as a teacher of fine arts - at all educational levels, an academic lecturer - she taught future teachers
how to teach fine arts,interior decorator-she specialized in decorative wall and furniture techniques still working , but already in a small capacity(University of the Third Age) she returns to easel painting.In 2022 she received an artistic scholarship for artists of culture from the Mayor of the City of Sopot-here in her city held 3 solo exhibitions. An inexhaustible source of inspiration for her work is
nature. Coastal landscapes, forests,meadows but also the world of fauna. She uses details, small fragments beautifully lit by the sun, out of context and gives them a new meaning. As a result of these actions he creates images that are completely "nonrepresentational", half-abstract, sometimes in a narrow color range for
but with a thick, varied texture, which he achieves by using backgrounds of tissue paper, fabric or structural pastes. To emphasize certain elements of the composition, she uses noble metals and metallizing paints, which gives different, special effects at different angles of viewing and incidence of light.When painting, she demonstrates her emotionality, her works could be inscribed in a very broadly defined current of expressionism. The artist's works show her fascination with living in harmony with nature at the same time a kind of anxiety related to the global inadequate
care for the environment. Sometimes dreamlike, bordering on the borderline between reality and dream, they do not impose ready answers - they give a lot of freedom of interpretation, space for contemplation and reflection.
