50x40 cm, 2023, acrylic/canvas
Gosia Sendlewska's painting is a geometric portrait in acrylic technique - a work in which the artist combined elements of geometry with a portrait of a person. Alluding to minimalism with elements of symbolism, the painting features the artist's use of geometric forms such as lines, shapes, rectangles, triangles and circles to create a composition around the portrait. The geometric elements can be depicted in different colors and sizes, creating harmonious or contrasting patterns and structures.
