The work of Emilia Waszak is a work painted in oil technique on canvas. The work is distinguished by bright colors with orangish and pink dominating. The main subject is a surreal wolf in a dynamic pose. This figurative painting contains elements of both magic realism and surrealism.
Emilia Waszak graduated from the Leon Wyczółkowski High School of Fine Arts in Bydgoszcz. Since 2014, she has been studying printmaking at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Toruń in the lithography studio of Prof. Piotr Gojowy and Dr.hab. Tomasz Barczyk. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding achievements in the 2017/2018 academic year in the field of graphic design. Winner of third place in the competition Bydgoszcz Plastic Artist Regionally (2014). Author of a solo exhibition: Praszka in the paintings of Emilia Waszak, Praszka Museum (2017).
