Emilia PITUCHA (b. 1960), Summer Migration I, 2023

Studied Art Education (now Faculty of Arts) at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Diploma in graphic arts from Prof. Danuta Kołwzan-Nowicka, 1986. Since 1998, she has been a member of ZPAP. She works in drawing and watercolor.

She has participated in about 100 exhibitions, individual and collective (mainly post-competition) in the field of drawing. Her last individual exhibition took place in February 2020 at TEST Gallery in Warsaw.


She is the winner of many international and national competitions, including:

2020 - Award of the Director of the Faculty of Arts of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in the 25th International Eastern Art Salon Lublin 2020.
2020 - honorable mention in the 10th Triennial of Polish Contemporary Drawing - Lubaczow
2020 - honorable mention in the 11th International Biennial of Miniature Art ,,Częstochowa 2020".
2018 - 2nd prize for drawing, Konfrontacje Sztuki, Warsaw
2015 - Grand Prix, 8th International Drawing Biennale, Melbourne, Australia
2015 - 1st prize, 5th M. E. Andriolli International Drawing Competition, Nałęczów, Poland.
2014 - 9th International Biennial of Drawing, - THE HONORARY CERTIFICATE OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY - SHORT LIST, Pilsen (Czech Republic).
