Danuta Wójcik (1978, Ilza)
Graduate of the Institute of Fine Arts at Maria Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin (2003).
Painting has always accompanied her, regardless of the place and time she is in. She draws inspiration from the reality around her. In painting she is particularly attracted to expression, strong emotions, mystery, playing with color, symbols, free individual associations about reality and personal experiences. She is inspired by dance, theater and her favorite music. She is also the author of stained glass designs. She has about 80 sold oil paintings at auctions of young art in auction houses in Poland.
Past (selected) exhibitions :
16.04.2001-participation in a collective post-exhibition of paintings, from the south of France, Antibes, organized at A.C.K. Chatka Żaka, in Lublin.
08.11.2002 - individual drawing exhibition at the Academy of Culture Center in Lublin, opened during the IV International Lublin Meeting of Contemporary Dance Theaters.
14.11.2004 - individual exhibition of painting, Club Centrala, Cultural Center in Lublin entitled "Dialogue of Impressions," as a guest of the Festival of Dance Theaters.
02.09.2005 - individual painting exhibition at the Leipzig Cultural Center.
