Damian Wojnowski is an artist born in Częstochowa (1972. For more than 30 years living and creating in Gliwice, Silesia . By education, glass decorator, musician, occupational therapist.For years he has been consumed by his passion for painting and love of drawing. On a daily basis, he conducts art therapy classes with the elderly and intellectually disabled. Through sculpture, painting, music or singing, therapy participants open access to their inner self: emotions, needs and fears. In addition, she conducts creativity workshops for children, adolescents and adults unleashing their creativity and awakening their passion for creation. Since 2015, he is a member of the Silesian Faun Art Association in Gliwice, where he successfully pursues his passion, participating in numerous group and individual exhibitions. A number of his works are in private collections. Wojnowski cooperates with galleries in Gdynia, Warsaw, Wroclaw and also participates in auctions of Polish contemporary art.

Damian Wojnowski's paintings are magical and often surprising journeys between worlds, where, like in an alchemist's workshop, a pinch of fantasy and dreams mingle with the not always idyllic reality. As the artist himself emphasizes his works are an attempt to capture the mood of the moment, stopping time for a moment and giving ordinary activities and things an element of magic.

Drawing us into his vision of the world , Wojnowski treats us to subtle humor, often lined with reflection and reverie. The artist has the ability to penetratingly observe a person, the relationships he creates, his thoughts, character and state of mind.The artist's paintings are also extremely colorful.

"I create an imaginary world of my sensations and emotions. Once I transport viewers to a fairy-tale, gentle reality, as when in one painting we see a seated little boy looking into the distance. This , "Little Prince" perhaps dreams of finding a special being who could become his friend and make his life meaningful. At other times, I take the audience to a surreal space where, unfortunately, machines that transport people back in time, fortune tellers, playing cards and glass balls rule. But I always leave the interpretation to the viewers." - explains the author.
