Damian Idzik Idzikowski b. 1991 Graduate of the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, Poland, in 2019 received a doctor of fine arts degree. From 2016 to 2021, he collaborated with the late Prof. Krzysztof Wieczorek in the Studio of Fundamentals of Workshop Graphics.
Since 2010, he has collaborated with the Association for Every Day and OD Święta in the creation of the path of Memorial Murals - Children of Baluty.
In 2017, he held an artist residency at Guanlan Original Printmaking Base in China and participated in the "Belt and Road" art project. In the same year, he held an artist residency at the Proyecto Ace program in Argentina.
He expresses himself through classical printmaking techniques, as well as digital and an experimental approach to the medium. In his work, it is the unforeseen effects that highlight things the world has not yet seen. A mistake is an excuse to look for another way - to achieve a goal, often using non-trivial means. In this way, he shapes his own individuality, expressing himself in various visual techniques.
