acrylic, board, 70 x 50 cm
Fyodorovich's paintings are inspired by iconography, which can be seen in the golden background of the composition and the holy figures filling most of the frame. Here, however, the viewer will see the Virgin Mary non-idealized, as she is cold. Mary is rubbing her nose with an openwork-decorated handkerchief, and in the upper corners of the board the author has placed symbols associated by viewers with health care. On the one hand, Fyodorovich is making a joke, while on the other he emphasizes the human, ordinary side of life, even among holy figures.
