Bartosz Iwan's work in oil on canvas is a surreal vision of a female scream. It is an Abstract Painting with a human figure, a woman on a dark background is a work in which the artist combines abstract elements with a subtly depicted female figure on a background of deep dark color. The whole work contains elements of expressionism.
Bartosz Iwan is a painter of the younger generation. He received his master's degree in painting in 2010 in the studio of Professor Łucja Piwowar-Bagińska at the Art Institute in Opole. During his studies, he participated in several group exhibitions around the country. In 2011, he stopped painting and took up graphic design. In 2017 he returned to painting permanently. In his own words, he creates for the love and hatred of man. Several favorite themes are intertwined in his work: the animal nature of humanity, primal, wild instincts, the origin and presence of evil and the self-destruction of man as a species. He often uses symbolism in his works. He lives and works in Warsaw.
