mixed technique (acrylic, oil, stencil), canvas, 50 x 50 cm, signed p.d.: Sandecka-Ląkocy'24
She grew up in an artistic family, her father carved wood, her grandfather painted. Artistic roots and exposure to art since childhood had a strong influence on her later path. She graduated from the Art Department of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Graphics, Sculpture) and from NKJO in Puławy (English Philology) under the U.W. She runs the Author's Gallery in Puławy and teaches at a private school. She has worked for several years with educational publishers including WSiP, PWN in illustration and preparing books for printing.
She paints mainly with oil and acrylic paints using spatula or brush. Spring and summer meadows, those blooming and full of color, but also autumn, when shades of gray begin to intermingle in reds, reds and browns. Flowers, charming wonders of nature, delicate and transient...stopped in painted bouquets. Sometimes a person...nude or portrait, fauna and flora...with elements of fantasy and abstraction. In the color and texture of the painting she tries to convey her emotions. The artist's paintings have found their place in private collections at home and abroad, including the UK, USA, Netherlands, Sweden, Canada and Germany.
