Biography
He is a graduate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In 2000 he received a diploma in the department of graphic design and painting. He deals with painting and sculpture. He has participated in group exhibitions at home and abroad. He won first prize at the High Art Festival in Bytom in 2000 for a series of landscapes. His works are in many private collections around the world. He is also the creator of replicas of dinosaurs and other animals, which can be admired in Jurassic parks and museums in Poland and the US. The artist's style can be described as oneiric pointillism. The artist's interests revolve around the theme of landscape, the leitmotif of which is the element of water, but in the gentlest, most soothing of its manifestations, although not devoid of an element of mystery. Each of the paintings is an invitation to a distant trip to non-geographical regions, to landscapes stored in the thoughts of their creator. The artist shows spaces into which one can travel safely and with impunity - soothing, fluffy, fleshy, rippling airs, shimmering depths. Adam Wojciechowski's paintings are gateways to these unobvious spaces, allowing one to immerse oneself in these worlds, rest in them or even escape into them.
