Biography
Graduate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with a Master of Arts degree in painting. The artist's paintings adorn collections in domestic and foreign collections. The main themes in her paintings are spirals, whirlpools, cyclones and circles, which symbolize transformations, paths, uncertainties, but are also symbols of constancy and obviousness. They represent beyond space-time values, which are the axis of existence in psychological and spiritual dimensions. By painting a picture, she discovers new internal and external territories, and gets to know both herself and the world around her. With each step she grows hopeful that, she is getting closer and closer to the "mystery" that hides somewhere over the horizon. Life is a great unknown, we never know what awaits us behind the next door. New challenges, obstacles and difficulties, are interspersed with moments of respite and even shorter moments of happiness. Such is also human nature, we are full of contradictions. Chaotic and yet orderly, full of flaws as well as advantages, we have good and evil within us. There is no color without light, no light without darkness. With these opposites we are complete. Thus, in his paintings he shows reflections on the world and human nature. I ask questions about the future and the past. I use plastic language. It allows him to fully communicate with the other person and his environment. I do this because I cannot put into words what I see internally. Transferring these thoughts to canvas is the only thing I can do to express them.
