A nice, well stamped piece. Residual luster in the background.
Type II bust, profiled dials made in a different style characteristic of the later mass issue of sixpences. The hybrid combines two separate groups of sixpences.
The coin illustrated in the catalog of L. Ciura.
Note: the book is not the subject of the auction.
The 1667 Bydgoszcz sixpences form a very diverse group of coins. The differences on the reverse concern the shape of the shields of arms and the decorations between them and next to the crown. Differences on the obverse concern only the bust, which can be attributed to several types.
