Handpan 9-tone
Metal handpan, 9-tone (B4 and A4 tones signed in marker). Traces of use, rubber strip on joining of hemispheres slightly frayed in places. Tuning untested.

Handpan is a musical instrument from the group of percussion instruments. It consists of two hemispheres made of stainless steel or titanium, which are joined together and form a bowl shape. On the surface of the handpan are several concave plates, which create different sounds depending on where they are struck and how hard they are struck 1. Handpans are often used for improvisation and creating melodies, as well as for meditation.
