Marta Marszałł (born in 1991 in Ostrów Wielkopolski, Poland). Graduated in painting from the Faculty of Pegadogogy and Art, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan [2016]. Winner of awards, author of individual and participant of collective exhibitions in the country and abroad. She works in acrylic and oil painting, drawing and flake gilding. Her most popular subject is portraiture. She is attracted to the subject of the human condition and the aesthetics of the human body. The leitmotif of her paintings is invariably color. It is often intertwined with a hint of romance and melancholy, encouraging reflection in the spirit of the maxim ~Memento Mori.~ For inspiration, she reaches out to the world of music, nature and the short audiovisual art form of film - the music video. In her painting endeavors she sometimes uses allusion, concerning the optical microstructure of the television screen. The area of her interests is complemented by sacred art, which more or less literally appears in her works; hence her fondness for gilding.
