Anna Maria Rusinek, born. 1977 in Busko-Zdrój. She graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Katowice and the Pedagogical Academy at the Faculty of Painting of the Institute of Art in Cracow under the direction of Prof. Stanisław Sobolewski.
She creates both small painting forms and large figural planes. Currently, she is engaged in nude and portrait painting, and is particularly fond of art deco filtered through her sensitivity in a unique way that gives her paintings a touch of uncommon individuality.
Characteristic for Anna Maria Rusinek are returns to the past, not only in the sphere of intellectual or formal ideas. Her art is a return to the reliable technological work, which is increasingly rare today.
The artist has participated in numerous solo exhibitions, and her works are in collections and private collections in Poland, Europe and overseas.
Anna Maria Rusinek also does pedagogical work, conducts professional workshops in painting and drawing for candidates for art studies. She also paints portraits on commission.
