Rv. Within an oak wreath: À LA CONVENTION NATIONALE PAR LES ARTISTES REUNIS DE LYON. PURE BELL METAL STRUCK IN MDCCXCII.

By André Galle (1761-1844), whose first work was cast in Paris with the proceeds from the bronze bells.

Heavyweight. Slight lack of scroll on reverse. Nice patina. Superb at Fleur de coin.
