Av. (crown) KAROLVS: DEI (Mm) GRA: FRANCORVM: REX. Crowned shield of France between two crowned lilies.
Rv. (coronet) XPC* VINCIT (Mm) XPC* REGNAT* XPC* IMPERAT. Leafy cross with heart-shaped quatrefoil, cantoned by four coronets within a quatrefoil.
