A phenomenal near-perfect mint representative of the rare Olkusz penny.
Excellent details and great freshness of the plate, minor imperfections of the disc.
The coin, as the only one, appreciated with the highest, among those given so far, note in NGC grading.
In our opinion, the most beautiful piece of this vintage to appear on the collector's market.
A variety with a jug to the right of the sun in the shield (mintmarks of the Olkusz mint).
An undescribed Dutkowski hybrid obverse type 15 with partial punctuation, but on the reverse a ball between the shields.
A great rarity in this state of preservation - to the best collections.
Obverse: in the rope border a royal bust in crown and armor, with a tubular orifice visible from above, in the outer border a legend punctuated by sun and jug signs belonging to unknown Olkusz engravers .SIGIS III.D G.REX-PO.M.D LIT.
Reverse: in the rope border crowned shields with Coats of Arms of the Crown and Grand Duchy of Lithuania, as well as the Coat of Arms of the Vasa dynasty, in the shield and below it spheres, in the outer rim a legend punctuated at the top with the Coat of Arms Lewart with initials I-F of Jan Firlej and the Axe Coat of Arms and initials C-R of Kasper Rytkier mincmistrz Olkusz at the bottom GROSVS.REGNI.-POLONIE.1593.
