Piece in very good condition with lots of luster on both sides.

A denomination minted only in 1565 being at the same time the first two-penny coin of the Republic, in contrast to the quadruplets it is definitely rarer and readily included in collections in any state of preservation.
Obverse: Bust of Sigismund Augustus preceding the legend in the rim with punctuation in the form of triplets: SIGIS AVG REX PO M D L;
Reverse: The duke's mitre with three-bladed stamps on the sides, below it shields with the Pogo and the Columns of Gediminas, below it the number II denoting the denomination. In the rim a legend with punctuation in the form of trifoliate MONE MAGNI DVCA LITV 1565;
