A characteristic type of Wladyslaw Opolczyk's quarto from the Lvov mint. Coin dated 1373-1376.
Av: Letter W in a four-arched rosette. Around the letter three rings each and a ring at the bottom. Outside in the corners of the rosette rings. In the rim: + WLADISLAVS ◦ DVX
Rw: A lion walking to the left. In the rim: + COIN ◦ RVSSIE
State of preservation: NGC MS63
Rim deficiency, but fully legible and for this type a well-preserved piece. This is the piece that received the highest NGC MS63 grade and is the only piece with an MS63 grade. In this state of preservation, the coin is rare and difficult to find on the collector market. A beautiful piece for the best collections.
