Nuptial medal minted in Gdansk, signed IH Jan Höhn.
Obverse: Young couple radiant with sunshine shake hands, above them in a wreath of clouds a dove symbol of the Holy Spirit. An angel pours water from a pitcher over the joined hands of the young couple. By the heads of the newlyweds the motto: MANUS MANUM LAVAT (the hand washes the hand). In front of them a symbolic figure of Cupid with a shovel, at the bottom a burning heart tied with a palm and laurel branch. Next to the bride and groom on the right a beehive with bees circling around it, and on the left a pelican with outspread wings. At the bottom on the sides of a miniature heart tied with palm and laurel branches I-H. In the rim CONNUBIUM FELIX AMOR ET LABOR EFFICIT ARDENS.
Reverse: Two allegorical figures shake hands, one touching a vine, the other with a palm branch. In the center a column, on it two doves facing each other, in front of the column a crown and the trunk of a vine unfurling and entwining the column. On the column two turtledoves facing each other, at the top in the wreath an anagram with the name of God - Yahweh - written in Hebrew. In the rim is the inscription PROLEBEAT CASTA ET CONSTANS CONCORDIA NUPTOS.
