Very rare medal by Robert Arondeaux, although not minted in Poland, it is closely related to Poland.

This type of medal was last sold in 2011 at 197 Auction of Gorny & Mosch Auction for 4.000 EUR.

Medal is practically absent in trade and the opportunity to buy it may not be repeated for many years.

The Treaty of Karlowitz was a peace treaty signed on January 26, 1699. It ended the war between the countries of the Holy League, which included the Papal States, the Venetian Republic, Austria (Holy Roman Empire), the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Russian Empire and the Ottoman Empire and its vassers mainly the Crimean Khanate.
