Obverse: in the pearl rim a half-figure of a ruler holding a sword, in the outer rim a legend:
FRIDERICUS-III-D G-M-B-S-R-I-A C & E-;

Reverse: crowned Prussian eagle with the monogram of the ruler, on its sides the denomination marking 1-8, in the rim the legend:
SUPERMUS DUX IN PRUSSIA 1698;
