"Mieszko and Dabrowka," or the 100-zloty coin for the "Millennium of the Polish State," was the first silver coin of the communist period. Several years were prepared for its issuance, and the result of these preparations are two series of proofs, which have survived to this day in the form of nickel proofs, among others. They are rich enough to pose a collector's challenge on their own.
