SAMPLE 100 PLN Copernicus 1925 LARGE
The Large Copernicus, or 100 zloty 1925, is one of the most sought-after, rarest and igniting the senses among the most seasoned collectors of proof coins of the Second Republic period. Although one of the rarest, its image is one of the most distinctive, unique and recognizable interwar designs, which cannot be mistaken for any other.
The author of the project was Stanislaw Szukalski, an artist who broke out of all art canons of the time. An unconventional, original man, going completely against the grain of all trends in art. All these features can be seen in the only coin designed by him - a 100-zloty coin with the image of Copernicus.
The coin in a beautiful, appreciated high NGC MS61. Exquisitely preserved details. Very rare and sought after.
