A very rare 1923 proof reverse of a penny, minted at the Kings Norton mint in the UK, in an unknown mintage.
An item missing from many collections of proof coins of the Second Republic.
Jerzy Chalupski writes, "These proofs (obverse and reverse prints), first appeared on the market after the liquidation of the combined mints of King's Norton Metal Company Ltd. Ralf Heaton and Sons - Birmingham".
A mint piece and the only one with the highest grade in the NGC registry.
An item very occasionally appearing on the auction market
Highly recommended!
