A very nice piece. Well preserved details and mint luster. Definitely an above average representative for this vintage.
Bust type II, crest shields profiled with pointed end, flower between them, rosettes at the crown. One of the few varieties with the abbreviation SVE rather than SUE.
The coin illustrated in the catalog of L. Ciura.
Note: the book is not the subject of the auction.
The 1667 Bydgoszcz sixpences form a very diverse group of coins. The differences on the reverse concern the shape of the shields of arms and the decorations between them and next to the crown. Differences on the obverse concern only the bust, which can be attributed to several types.
