Denomination introduced by the reform of January 11, 1924. Coin minted to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Vienna Victory by decree of the Treasury Minister on September 1, 1933. Coin minted only in the months of September and October 1933. Remaining in circulation until November 1939.
The coin was minted in Warsaw in an edition of 300,000 pieces according to a design by Jan Wysocki.
Obverse: state eagle of 1927 design, in the rim an inscription: RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 10 ZŁOTYCH 10, under the eagle's paw the Kościesza coat of arms - the mark of the State Mint in Warsaw.
Reverse: bust of King John III, in the rim the legend JAN III SOBIESKI 1683-1933.
Edge: serrated
