Obv. HADRIANVS – AVGVSTVS, bare headed bust of Hadrian, draped, facing left.

Rev. A galley, facing left over some waves, with a steersman and eight rowers. At the stern is an acrostolium, an arch above the steersman, a standard and a vexillum. On the prow is a mast and a sail.

Orichalcum, 25.22 g, 31.5 mm. RIC2.3 - The Roman Imperial Coinage, vol. II - part 3 from AD 117-138 Hadrian (1173).

Grade: slightly smoothed, otherwise Very Fine, green patina.
