Bust crowned with broad head facing right on obverse.
On the reverse a crowned shield of the coat of arms. Under the shield the denomination mark 18 and initials E - C (Ernest Dietrich Croll - mincmaster of the Leipzig mint).
Narrow bust with ribbed shoulder straps crossed sleeve and ribbed ribbon of the Order of the Golden Fleece.
Crown fields of the obverse and reverse smooth with suspensions in the central fields.
Brooch of the clasp oval with a pearl border.
Reverse variant with eight leaves.
Variation of punctuation with a dot ending the obverse inscription on the obverse and without a dot after the date.

A superbly minted and preserved piece. Plastic relief. Beautiful detail. Charming patina. Intense luster and mint mirror. Mint condition confirmed by a very high NGC grade. In such a state of preservation, the coin is rare and difficult to find on the collector's market. A beautiful piece for discerning collectors.
