Destruct formed when a coin is struck on a disc cut from the end of a sheet. Particularly rare on large-diameter coins. In coin collections of the last century, struck by machine in large numbers, it is not the quantity of coins that indicates the quality of the collection, but the number of gems in it. There is no higher grade of gems than low-volume SAMPLES, and even rarer to them, created by accident, interesting minting errors (offsets, reverses).
