A very nicely preserved, outstanding beauty crown thaler of King Sigismund III. Sourced from the Rauch auction (111/10125), where it was described as vorzüglich+(2/2+) condition. Double minted, with clear luster and minor defects to the obverse background. Impressive sharpness of relief untouched by circulation.
Type with the coat of arms of Half-Kozic on the obverse, in a shield, under a figure.
Variety with a bust with a thick orifice, which Jan Dostych described as a "sinuous shape", and a cross on the king's chest.
