The so-called "Triptych" is a prized collector's series, commemorating three important Polish figures - Kosciuszko, Pilsudski and Chopin. It is one of the most distinctive issues after 1989. The most popular are the so-called "small triptychs." Much rarer are issues from the "large triptych". Gold coins from this series are encountered only occasionally.
