A circulating, legible piece.
A typologically interesting transitional issue by T. L. Boratini, featuring a Type II bust (known only from this short issue) and the Ślepowron coat of arms loose without a shield on the reverse. The shields of the coat of arms in this variety are profiled, which is later typical for Cracow issues. One of the typologically more interesting and numismatically more important Cracow sixpences from the beginning of Boratini's second lease period. A very rare variety known in only one piece at the time the catalog was prepared.
The coin illustrated in the catalog by L. Ciura.
Note: the book is not the subject of the auction.
