Silver, 3.99 g, 19.7 mm. Babelon (Junia) 30; Sydenham 907; Crawford 433/2.

Grade: EF, weakly struck but nicely preserved, lustre.

Brutus depicted on the coin was Lucius Junius Brutus who expelled the last king, Tarquinius Superbus, and was one of the founders of the Roman Republic in 509 BC.
