Marcin Markiewski - Graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts and Cracow University of Technology, among others. For many years associated with architecture, first as an architect, then coordinator of design and finishing works.All the time creating and painting. For many years he has worked with a stained glass studio creating stained glass designs in many churches throughout Poland. The outlined 1:1 scale stained glass sheets often reached several meters in length. It is impossible to ignore the many years of independent design and execution of stained glass in the Tiffany technique, both small and medium-sized.
He made works for the multi-series reproduction present in large chains and for individual orders. Numerous series of situational and floral paintings. It is worth mentioning the icons made in the classical Old Church atmosphere.
He also created murals as an experiment with acrylic paints. He did not give up graphics and drawing, working with printing and advertising companies. He created micro-series of comic strips awarded in online competitions.
He also works in photography and graphic design. Currently, in painting, he mainly pursues cityscape, portrait and nude portraying the beauty of the female body, and has recently remained faithful to the latter subject matter.
