Svitlana Balatska - was born in 1971 in the Lviv region of western Ukraine. Since 2013 she has been living and working in Krakow.
Having no art education, she taught herself various painting techniques, immersing herself in the world of art. Each work of art brought more and more knowledge and skills, and over time contributed to my her turning into something much more. She is creative and imaginative, always looking for new ideas.
Her first work was created in 2016. She creates works influenced by feelings, emotions and mood, using various artistic, natural materials and their combinations.
She likes three-dimensional textures, structural paints, so she often works with sand, coffee grounds, stones, and the painting spatula has become her favorite tool. Foil for gilding (schagmetal) is also present in her works.
Svitlana's paintings are the result of conveying a personal vision of the world, in which the spirit of will and the desire for beauty are preserved, while leaving space for the viewer to interpret for himself.
Many creative personalities, professional artists and amateurs, inspire her for new interesting projects.
